Great Corporate Videos make Good Use of Time

Posted on April 8, 2013 by Ron Strobel in Blog
Great Corporate Video Camera man

Time is what we all want. Time to exercise. Time with our families. Time with our hobbies. Time to go on vacation. Time with our best clients. Time to make more money.

Great corporate videos can help because people will watch it on their own time and convenience. Here’s another ‘time tool’. Want to improve the effectiveness of every future customer phone call you make? Here’s an idea. Ask them if now’s a good time to talk. That’s it. That simple request of respect can catapult your results. Why?

Let’s analyze it. If you start in with your pitch, once you hear your prospect or client’s voice, you don’t really know if they’re listening or not. All you really know is that you are talking. You may be sending out words but nobody’s hearing them! But if you ask the simple question, “Is now a good time to talk?” or “Do you have a minute to speak with me?”, you automatically are perceived differently. You are seen as someone who respects your client’s time, and someone who does not have time for idle chatter. You client may respond, “Sure what’s on your mind” or “Now is not a good time, I’m on my way to the airport”. Now you respond, “What would be a better time for us to talk?”

Chance is, she will tell you, and now you have a commitment for her, or him, to listen when you do get to talk together. You’ve booked time. This may seem trivial, but it’s these kinds of distinctions that will give you the edge over the competition in today’s challenging market.

Consider using great corporate videos to get your message across, too. Well executed, they can save you a bunch of time and even help you build trust with your customers and clients.

What Corporate Video and Superman Have in Common

Posted on April 1, 2013 by Ron Strobel in Blog
what corporate video and superman have in common

What could corporate video and the Man of Steel possibly have in common? Here’s a question for you. What makes Superman Superman? Think about it.

Okay, that’s enough thinking. I’m going to give you the answer because I know your attention span is short at best. Superman is Superman because he has super powers that you and I don’t have. You know that x-ray vision, flying around. That kind of stuff.

We at VideoNet have discovered that every small business, to mega corporation out there has at least one super power. So what’s yours? Ours is the ability to locate that superpower in companies and then get it to the screen with corporate video, where your clients and prospects can witness it. Understand it. Respect it and want to do business with you.

Take a moment today to ponder your best super power. Do your clients and prospects know about it? And here’s the real question…what if they did with a great corporate video? How would that affect your bottom line? Here’s another way to look at it. Super powers come from your problems, because your problems are your power in disguise.

Here’s another way to say it: Goliath was the best thing that ever happen to David. Get it? Until Goliath, David was just a puny individual, as part of an outnumbered army. So the story goes.

But then what happened? Goliath, a Philistine warrior, appears and says, I’ll take on any one person, expecting the fiercest, biggest, meanest, most powerful warrior to appear…and a petite teenager named David steps forth. Find out what you prospect’s goliath problem is, and offer to help them solve it. What is your ‘Goliath’ problem?

Every business and businessman has one. Look at it for what it is – an opportunity to use your power to resolve it. We’re not inferring that it will be easy, it may be extremely difficult to impact this issue, but addressing it, and using your skills to make it go away, is your power. And the fact that you acknowledge it and are attempting to do something about it, keeps you in the mix and is your pathway to future success.

Keep working at it and contact us if we can help along the way. Fight the mighty battle; win the day, and call us if we can help.

Corporate Video Production and Best Fit Clients

Corporate Video Production and Best Fit Clients

Know – Like – Trust. That’s the formula for the way people usually do business. First they have to know you exist, and basically what you do. That’s where a great internet presence can really help. You’re easy to find on line, your site contains video made by a professional corporate video production company, is exciting and informative, and you have free low-risk offers for them to get their email address.

Now they know about you. So you begin to communicate. That used to mean a phone conversation, but today it’s maybe an email. The best sales wins start as simple conversations. Answering questions, investigating what problem they have that you might be able to solve. You have a good understanding of their industry and they start to like you. Now you are at a critical crossroad. Do they trust you?

They do if they’ve signed up for your product or service. Cash changing hands is a clear signal that you have earned their trust. Now deliver on any promise you make in an extraordinary way and you have a client for life. Know, like, trust with video.

Corporate Video Production Builds Trust with Clients

Video is important, but to consistently attract the right kind of business you have to have a clear understanding about your ‘best fit’ client. The way we do this is we look at our five best clients this year.  What do they have in common? Where are they located? What industry are they in? How many employees do they have? What’s there gross income? This will present a typical profile.

Now go look for companies, or people with those same qualifiers.  Why, because that is your target market. Spend your time on ‘best fit’ clients because, not everyone with a pulse is a lead. In fact, here’s our definition of a real lead. A real lead has six qualifiers: An identifiable problem, is attempting to solve that problem, will purchase a solution within six months, your contact is the decision maker, they are willing to meet or talk with you, and has a workable budget for your solution. Video will get their attention, but work real leads and watch you productivity soar.

And if we can help, give us a call.
